~Allah~ ~God~ Allah want is Peace. We, Allah, want Peace. We, Allah, think we know what Peace is, how to achieve it. Did you know that Alfred Nobel, the one who funded the Nobel Peace Prize, made his fortune by inventing, then producing a weapon of destruction, dynamite? Tell me, Allah, you, how does one find "Peace" from the end of a gun barrel, a stick of dynomite, or a missile? Forgive me my naivete, but I still believe, Peace shall never come from the end of a gun.... unless by the end of the gun you refer to some future moment when the guns of the world are all put down, instead of the people, and our hands and hearts are left holding and aiming only love. |

I read a book, a long time ago Its title was "Kill For Peace" It was much longer than your poem, You have said nearly the same thing as it, in a few, short stanzas... Thank you for the recollection.. -----------ice ><> |
