she smelled like something dead.
padded feet and angel wings burning
sleeping in a hallucination
of knives swimming, lakes pointed.

she looked like something dead.
a friendly neighborhood kamikaze,
panting in 47 Celsius weather,
signs on nice lawns, "this home's sold."

she thinks like something dead.
points the flag at policemen
dampens the fire in firemen
everyone's little sister.

i felt protected
like a hostage under the security of guns,
watching the lake go up in blazes.

what's happening?
what's...happening?

she speaks like something dead,
breath reeking of ignorance,
misconceptions,
we don't draw no conclusions,
don't ask no questions.

-------------------------
so ends my drop in. Please don't misinterpret ths to be about suicide or drugxpodjz or somemitt. Because it's not.

Well, I guess I did miss you guys. But I still don't feel right staying here, to be honest. Perhaps I'll do this again in a few months, eh? love to all, and I'll stick around for a few minutes because that's the sort of thing I do.

part of me almost believes you.
that part of me is very small and located in an unimportant place, like the lower half of my left foot.

Yeah, and K is making hamburgers.

Glad the wind blew you in, you are really missed around here - this poem only being a small part of why.  Take care you!

I've already skipped ahead to desert.
nah, in all reality, great as it is to see you all again,I just don't...like the feeling I get here.
well, it's mostly explained in that long callous rant I posted forever ago. But I didn't feel right leaving lke that, without a better closure. you guys are my friends, but staying in the same town all your lfe isn't going to get you anywhere. I guess time let me simmer down and come back here, but at the same time, it's only a fair few things I really missed while I was gone, and coming back made me realize it.
so, it was healthy for me.

Good to see you again even for a brief moment....I was wondering if I'd see your words grace these pages again...

Ok, I've read, and your writings moved to somewhere else, from the looks of it. I've missed it, and I enjoyed seeing how your writing has moved on.

sleeping in a hallucination
of knives swimming, lakes pointed.

OOOOH. yeah, ooooh. Why didn't i write that? This makes me feel like i'm floating on that lake, corpse like.

Glad you popped in with a little bit of sophisticated darkness. x

Hugs, missed you sweetie!
Well, I guess was out of town or something for whatever that windy storm was that blew you out of here. But most of us benefit from our breaktimes, self-imposed or otherwise.
I always enjoy your fresh perpectives on life.

heh - you think I feel right here?  I've stirred up my share of messes . . .
I just post when the muse pricks me to death.

Plus, I kinda love too many people here.
*grin*

Its just like HOME.  (seriously)

I miss you and your writing, Liz and this was a tease.  No fair.

I thought you were writing about me for a sec there, sheesh, walking around with a bomb 'neath my shirt.

Ready to explode, implode?
dynamite, firecracker, a-bomb  . . .

now you have me on a rant, as usual.

phalanx grip
of corroded edge
mushroom cloud bedsheet
sends sparks
illuminating white matter

cerebral

as she lay
quietly dying
while masses wander
faces warped,
dried and calloused
laughing . . .

I thought this profoundly intriguing.  My take on it is basically human apathy and might I sense a political statement???  Nice to read you, Wind.

It is so sad that our little wind has blown away. The power in her poetry had the punch of gale force winds. I miss her spunk, her wit, her poetry ~ and her presence.

Wind, where have you gone???...
