Monsoon—
A constant rain
encloses the world

Ditches fill
beside the roads
The river becomes a muddy flood
that rushes out to sea

Lightning bolts
across the sky
Birds seek shelter
among the trees

A small
black squirrel
shakes the water
off its fur

and gets included
in a poem

Great imagery..much enjoyed the read.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul
