A Loving Heart

I often wonder, if they know
how much I really care
My heart is too tender
to see them lying there

I go from house to house
to care for each and all
It saddens me to see them
so frail and small

My heart is filled with compassion
as I go to them each day
I try to make their life more pleasant
in some kind of way

It is my hope that they can see
how much I really care
and that the love I have inside
is what I wish to share

Awww so caring and sweet ..... this eminds me of my son who works in a nursing home , he even stays after hours to chat to the old folks

There is no doubt in my mind that they know what a wonderful, loving person you are. Your compassion and understanding is such a wonderful asset and I'm sure they look forward to your visits.

Sue, your loving ways and caring heart are undoubtedly having a healing and calming effect on your patients. I know how difficult it can be to see others suffer.

At one point in my nursing career, I would be called in to be with those patients in their homes during the last hours of their lives. I carried out their critical care needs, but also their emotional ones. I have held many a hand as the soul crossed over. Those were very hallowed moments.
