I will leave you to clasp another’s hand when the grim reaper issues his summons, allowing no refusal or avoidance of his grasp. I will leave you, focus on some other face when time itself has been erased and these eyes can see nothing more. I will leave you when these cells that sing your name lie silent in my veins, at the moment that my lungs are robbed of breath unless I can be with you even after death. |
