it's 5:00 and i'm dreaming, dreaming of flower aerobics and pillows but my day has decided to start with, or without me. so i'll dream my way through the day and laugh with you and hold your hand with judy garland in the backround "..i went to lose a jolly hour on the trolly, and lost my heart instead." could you sing along if i gave you the words? what if i wrote a street sign about me would you take the time to ask for directions? or just drive on drive on. the lights of the city look like christmas lights just because i took the time to look if i put the city in my eyes would you study them? and live in them? and embrace them? or, leave them behind. |
