I Gesture

I gesture on a moments stay
A moment on a stage in play
A wisp of time, a blot of ink
Specks, to push the button think

Each speck if but a blade of grass
Or sand within an hourglass
Stretches your horizons line
Like spines upon a prickly pine

Each incidental marks a rush
A moment of the moving brush
The one that sweeps your life away
Without repeat without replay

A moment’s cry a moment’s leap
A moment’s wake a moment’s sleep
Moment’s in eternals run
So fast its run and then is done

Its moment’s in the rear that chime
The moment’s of a moment’s time

Good morning!

   I gest love your poem, sigh...  The  artist and musician in me was especially drawn to this stanza:
         "Each incidental marks a rush
          A moment of the moving brush
          The one that sweeps your life away
          Without repeat without replay"
Yes! For me, there is something about an incidental mark that makes the moment rushed and insecure.
    A pleasure to read!
