"Remember, when I say goodbye, it's never for long," he said, breaking into a signature hit, "because I believe in the power of love."

RIP, Luther Vandross

The sound of Love you were
for so many, for so long,
the sound of Love which
could make a lady moan
even when sitting alone

and Luther, dear Luther
we shall hear you
within the clouds
and thank you for
the power of Love

you sang true...

this was the news
I did read tonight
while listening
to
the
blues

RIP, Luther

Kacy...what a voice he had, huh?  I am so glad we can still hear it in his recordings...I have been playing, "Dance with my Father Again" in my head, because that is what I used to do...and he always reminded me with the song, of a very special time.  Thanks for this post!!

tis a sad day in the music world.....all the best die young....

I keep a fragrance bottle my
muse gave me when I met him
in endless winter and he
settled me into remembering
who I am.
