I stopped the moonglow in midstream and cast a spell of midnite in scream and evermore wonder why did we let the heat cool let the stream flow untended to the sea still, your touch touched me in secret recesses hidden by the bright lights you stood underneath the spotlight I watched wanting more than the afterglow of you so I left |

"I watched wanting more than the afterglow of you so I left" Yes, tells it like it is! Great read - thanks. |

wonderful...the last line turned the entire feeling around...and yet, knowing you cannot ask to be loved, it must come openly and naturally...hugs to you |

"So I left" I find so much heartache in this short sentence. This is a fine piece, Kacy. KJ Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

"I watched wanting more than the afterglow of you so I left" "wanting more" is always my problem... great words Kacy. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

thanks, amigos sometimes leaving seems to be the only option, when what you want/need is more than a few mere moments a week... and I was young enough to want/need much more than afterglow moments Remember this?: "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now" (thanks Bob D) |
