Who goes there, she said Have you come to steal my heart? How is it that you feel the need to conquer me when I show you no desire? Do you think I am your prey and that you are the mighty hunter? The one who will win my heart only to go on to the next. I have been lured by words before believing what I long to hear. Words that fall from your lips much to easily. I watch you with suspicion, you pretend so well. Masculine aura that I am addicted too please, have mercy on me. |

My older sister once told me that "all men are guilty until proven innocent." I do believe there are some innocent ones out there....but it never hurts to be cautious. This is what your poem made me think of. |
