It is not easy
when I am here
in this solitary
place and
space of mind

the emptiness
surrounds me
until it is absorbed
through every pore

rushing
through my veins
until I am left

      emotionless

staring at the walls
listening to the sounds
of silence
breaking with every
tick of clock

   praying
          for time to stop

just long enough
for me to catch my breath
to analyze
any feelings left

but there are none
to be found
here or there
I am void
of feelings
anywhere.

Left cold,
I lie within
this secluded tomb
trying to regain the warmth
of mothers womb.

I am
   voiceless,
alone with my spirit scarred
here, in this nothingness....

      it is hard.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

Gosh, girl! To be able to write of such emptiness when you are so full of spirit and Light, is quite a poetic feat!

Hugs with oodles of love,
Linda

As long as you have those who love you at PIP you will never be alone...Your pain is shared by many who love you...Keep rambling and some of the pain and emptiness will fade (I wish my ramblings were half as good at this is)...My heart goes out to you...*big hugs*

There are moments
when quiet
is loud...

and times when loud
is clicked off.

This...

rambles with a quiet serenity of noise.
