In assuming this form
shall my influence rise
on occasion of need
to the bearer at hand?

One need only have faith
in those forces outside
what is known, or is thought,
that they may understand.

Polished stone, graven wood.
symbols long laid to rest
whose inanimate shapes
heed the the call and command.

Keeping true those beliefs
which lie close to the chest
those eternally etched
in my heart.

I am a keeper of Talismans....all special because of love. I give them special power because of that feeling, and trust that they have it. Enjoyed your poem as always, Doc!
