In My Dreams Here I lay in the dark, To a new world I embark. Envisioning my dreams, Each night love is the theme. He appears when I sleep, In my dreams he does sweep. On the wings of a dove, Whispering words of love, Oh how special I did feel. A man who wants only me, If only dreams were real, True love I’d guarantee. Finally night was no more, From my dream I was tore. Sounds came from the covers, Next to me my lover, As he reached for my hand, I saw my wedding band. Now I know day or night, He brings me to delight. Our love we will keep, Even deep in my sleep. Thank you for 35 years of love Forever and a day Your wife Toni 06-25-05 |
