Magic Light Lost in dreams of mystic weave I choose the themes to believe Then I draw each perfect scene Starting with a blank, white screen I paint colors mixed with sound Of fields where flowers abound With singing brook flowing by Still more that does not comply The meadow in dark of night Comes alive with magic light Full moon bathes each blade of grass As fairies come forth amass Girls shimmer in brilliant hue As boys prepare to pursue Cries of delight fill the air When girls beckon and boys dare The meadow repeats this scene Each time the full moon is seen Karen Mc Neil-Tomayer June 22, 2005 |
