~*~ Letting out the long line of summer without questioning direction or the days ahead slow sails billow, cutting through blue water past the reef and breaking waves floating un tethered, offshore in the breeze. Aware of the slack holding me in the balance where all my love is released as if each knot has slipped pulling through unfamiliar channels yet stronger than ever in the fraying sunlight and harsher elements. Suddenly arriving in a safe harbor of dreams and answered prayers that have come full circle your cool hand provides an awning shading my eyes from the tear streaked sunset that marks the sky staying the course of my weathered wavering. Awash in the glaze of midnight that gleams a velvet lightening angles the planes of your face in my curves separating your eyelashes in the shadows misting me in synergy. Oh my heart weighs heavy in the moment and I have no words for my telling lies in quiet slumber and easy breathing of silent stars falling on a grateful sea. ~*~ |
