As the search begins in earnest, now, through all that which lay at hand. We inspect each part for minor flaws 'til assured they will withstand what the scrutiny of others' eyes may discern, that we don't miss, what may prove to be our only chance to describe something like this. Such a fragile piece, in progress may never shine unless complete. One false step could cause it to disperse and, again, become discreet. But, with care, one may construct a sphere causing light to coalesce, if, the spell retains its' potency, the practitioner, finesse. It's as if some force has come to play, intervening, for a time., with an influence at points which lead us to something quite sublime. All from words, that most ethereal of all mediums, per se... there to briefly incandesce, and then, just as quickly fade away. As these hands which brought this fire forth now lay mutely by my side, and, await an inspiration and the touch that will provide. [This message has been edited by Dr.Moose1 (06-20-2005 07:26 PM).] |

Martie, Thanks. In my own way, I have borrowed much from you here. If I have done this correctly, the reader will be able to visualize a ball of flame being manipulated by nothing more than the authors' hands, coaxed out of nothingness, and, returned within the amount of time it takes to blink. Magic, plain and simple. If not, hey, I'll try again until I get it right. I, for one, am convinced in the power of words, I have seen some of their results, and, have decided that this will be my lifes' study. Thanks for allowing me to ramble. Love your stuff. Doc |

You have done it correctly...that is just how it seemed...and thanks for what you said about me...I thought I'd lost you as a reader...I'm glad to know you've been reading quietly. |

This poem, and your reply intrigued me so much that I doubt I can express all I have to say about it in one simple reply. But just know that you have succeeded in your effort, and this goal you speak of in your reply to Martie has always been what I aspire to as well. Amazing you. And it's a marvelous poem too, and one that I did understand as I have done "chi" exercizes involving this very visualization. So yep, you kinda stunned me silent. |

serenity, Ok, I'm a fool, but, I have had other people do my bidding. This both scares and , intrigues me. Trust me, I am not into parlor tricks, nor " Magic" , per se. All I offer is the power of suggestion. Perhaps a little mis-direction, and, the next thing you know, you're in Docs' world! Doc |
