I am deep and complex
I wonder about the connections of my soul
I hear my heart's desire
I see angels crying at my feet
I want what is mine

I am deep and complex
I pretend I am free to fly
I feel a faint glow at the center of my core
I touch the edges of your mind
I worry that I have lost where I was found
I cry about the road not taken

I am deep and complex
I understand the truth of my nightmare
I say I miss myself
I dream about again holding your heart in the palm of my hand
I try accepting my present state
I hope I can again touch heaven

I am deep and complex

"Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again.  To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." A. Brink
