patterned beauty lines
patting soft behinds
winking to the left
yet 'neath it all we find
phillies in a race
jones' keeping pace
tho not a one will win
wipe the egg with grace

unspoken form and ban
stone walling dirty hands
horses high, no poles
isn't winter grand?
chill-factoring at zero
violin like nero
foolish game of chance
damsels minus hero

reapers grim what sown
true intent unknown
tis but a glaring blue
where fingers set the tone
both eye and body dark
deep waters swimming sharks
a territorial fest
no weary for the rest

pattern beauty lines
pat yours if you pat mine
try winking to the right
perhaps we'll all be fine

I'll be forever amazed by people who can write with rhyme....and not be stifled by it.
