sitting in both
past & present,
listening smiles to a renoir’s
girl with the watering can
painting the center of whole

while a

flux of tarot cards helps me
find stalactite droppings
where great prodigies
push my heart & life to undergo
human scenic wonders
moon cakes on a collision with music

and
              we
weave
             and
weave

even though we talk like strangers
we become fruit and cerulean water

i, the focus of some
division of seasons, tossing
wine riddled thermals
into the air
you paint a face on childhood
while
towns folk, turn out to hear
something about a special diet
from the great sphinx
leafy hums awaken magnolia dreams

short-circuiting a friend of a friend
into a secret’s total gesture
we linger
once again…
where distance opens
with a hollowed name
and the savor of
gathering each other
again
writing new letters
connected with the old ones
becomes a ravishing relic

we hear fireworks in the background
and i realize great meaning
in that moist spring picnic
under a scented rose garden arbor
in allentown

God I loved you....

You weave beauty and love into a vision of delight...Powerful feelings need a painting like the one this poem presents to express itself...Stunning...*big hugs*
