 A gentle breeze brushes my face As I sit here and write Whispy clouds adorn the sky But they don't block out the light I am immersed in peace and quiet Only the birds make a sound This place I come to often Where inspiration can be found My skin soaks up the rays of sun As I pen my words in rhyme Here I am in my own world And I lose all track of time I've much to be grateful for Each day, for love, I strive As I embrace all that I have It feels so good to be alive I am in motion |
