Cleansing Water droplets tickle the throats of thirsty souls, Wetting the palates of sinners and saints alike; We all smell of rose water and pine, Just as we envisioned in the dreams before our time--- Speculation and observation of the hearts incline Brings the end of the day and body unwind, Butterscotch, bubblegum, lavender and sweet honey, The smells of a tepid bath to soak away all worries, Cleansing… Amber clouds sing passionately to violet skies, And for the sake of innocence and beauty, Spring moisture cries gum drop shaped tears, So that lilies, cherry blossoms and tulips will attest The patience of love’s alcove witnessed from the doves above, Pureness unseen yet spoken in quiet prayers Smelling of the sweetest incense as smoke uncurls, Into the nostrils and hearts of the faithful and faithless, Cleansing… Slowly I wade into the pool of life, Tightly holding the invisible hands of God; My steps deepen as fear dissipates, Body sinking into the coolness of forever, Shedding old ways, old habits and same sins, Before emerging to walk upon the waters reborn, Cleansing... Oh...I loved this! Especially, wading into the coolness of life...It is like that...very much like that. What excellent imagery you have painted Keith. Always excellent to read you. TD |

The most obvious of gifts is sometimes left a bit invisible in the busy commerce of life. Never doubt that what you have to render is a picture more valuable than gold. Up ya go. TD |
