Effeminate Heart

Chiseled from limestone when love was fresh,
you were the rarity.

Neither beaten gold,
nor rough-hewn carvings,
could have arrested your beauty.
Inevitably they might have birthed imitation,
in a vain attempt to foil sawdust and sheathing,
but they would not...
could not...
have captured the luxuriant nature of your becoming.

The pianist may have been able to orchestrate your familiar notes,
however that is neither here nor there,
and the piece still would have been lacking.

Who channeled the séance of your effeminate heart...
through the maelstrom of infinite space?

Me...

The one who only wanted to set free the drowsy liquid of your love!

You are growing more and more sensitive~~ inwardly and to the world outside you as well....

Always remember, as you walk this path.....

Naming Tears

I called
myself
weak

You said
"sensitive"

"vulnerable"

"open"

tears burn
the same

but
don't
hurt

....but you know, and I knew especially at that moment, that they really do.

You have more than just a handsome face ~ you have a beautiful and sensitive heart.

Your ability to express love so eloquently, simply astounds this reader.

Please don't ever leave us again. I know that that is a selfish request, but I had to ask!
