"i'm putting the flower in the bottom of your brother's droor, it will dry up and fall apart, and someday he'll get mad and throw it away, but he'll like it there for now." she looks down into the brown paper bag on my bedroom floor and i reassure her "i'll take that stuff downstairs later and put it back." "do you want me to take it now?" "if you want to." "do you want me to take that laundry?" "if you don't mind." "it's alright- i'm bringing things up and taking things down, life is just all about moving things anyway," i hesistantly chuckle and she continues. "you buy food at the grocery store to move to your stomach, you take laundry down to bring it back up; that's what i used to think about when i'd shovel rocks i'd shovel rocks and shovel rocks i'd shovel rocks and think it's all about moving it's moving from one place to another it's all about moving..." |

I did enjoy the way you weaved the story and, yes, you are so right. I guess the trick is to take whatever is meaningful with us while we are moving like love for instance but love also moves according to its own agenda. Everything moves! |

A great example indeed of how we can extend the meaning of simple gestures and make some philosophical considerations. Beautiful! Love, Margherita |
