do you love the sound of morning
when the women are crying
pretending to be the wind
escaping from another room

when the sky is still dark
and the blood on the ground
is warm enough to touch
and does not feel lifeless yet

do you savor the smells of ash
and sulphur seeping beyond roses
and the boredom of concrete
wearing asundered dress olive

with brass accessories
as simi-formal explosive
in a crowded room of appreciation
standing on tiptoes of freedom

where flagless arms cease to wave

somber song
crying winds
lightened in
the touch of dark

sending mothy hugs for your loss...
nodding me mothy head at this profoundly impressive write...
you paid him an outstanding poetic honor with this D.

This is a fine tribute DS, and a sad reminder
of these times we are living in.

Sending hugs with the others...so touched by this, especially:

"with brass accessories

in a crowded room of appreciation
standing on tiptoes of freedom

where flagless arms cease to wave"
