Your presence consumes me The lure of your perfume Blended with body chemistry A seductive invitation to me You are tough out there In the world of business Yet in the safety of solitude You’re spirit longs to play I’ve caressed your body from End to end, time and again Yet- now I can’t touch you Because you’re Born Again I can’t ignore what once Was a passionate relationship Where spirit, mind and body Intertwined to bring us to one I feel I’ve lost the battle For your love and attention When there seems so little Room between Work and Church Nothing hurts more than sitting next to the one you love - knowing it will never be. |

while wallowing and pining make for heartfelt poetry, like yours here, she has her own path to follow... as you do yours. your verse is tragic and conveys your emotions and tells your story well... we are what we seek |
