The season first started
and i've come back to find you
in the field where forget me nots
sing a stirring revival,
and kites free the clover dales
and dandelions plant between
the capillaries in concrete,
as the general consensus
awakens to renewal,
and the orchestra contains itself
behind the mist of curtain blue,

and how could i not think of you
when the sky becomes our butterfly?
