 Artist: Chiu Land of Love and Light ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ +*+*+*+*+*+ Silvery beams of moonlight, Slid down from starry skies. They slipped between the shutters, And kissed my sleeping eyes. As I lie still in silence, I dreamed of faery realms. Tiny folk trilled merry songs, And danced ‘round ancient elms. Unicorns were fleet of foot, Rose garlands hung from manes. Clouds were cotton candy, And gumdrops lined the lanes. Houses made of gingerbread, Were lit by fire flies. Lakes were green, and grass was blue, White dragons streaked pink skies. Castles glowed with crystal light, Flowers bloomed forever. Colors never seen before, In land of balmy weather. Zephyr winds blew soft and warm, The stars shone every night. Lilacs wafted in the air, In land of love and light. Birds were happy all the time, They chirped and sang all day. Life was nice and easy, And all would sing and play.
