Waiting

Keep your eyes open
They won't call your name
you've got six minutes
get yourself there

Do what you need
what's taking so long?
Hurry you must go
no time to lose

Now is the time
Quickly get set up
others are waiting
waiting for me

Nervous,nervous
Fingers twich in time
anticipation
can inspire

Waiting in line at the pharmacy again?

(I know, I know, but don't worry about it R--you are already guilty by association here at Pip--but not to worry, they're a pretty understanding bunch.)

This made me smile, because I could SEE you fidgeting...

we really gotta get a handle on that nerve thang, huh?

Hugs and *winks* Ralph.

Enjoyed.

Actually waiting to get on line at the library K, just to post this sub-standard piece of junk of mine . Well I hope someone gets a kick out of it.

Someone did, sweetie.

So tell me? How many stacks of books did you knock over while you waited? laughing

(I'm teasing you, yanno.)

I DID enjoy, and next week if I'm feeling better, I'll make it up to you. Come over here and we'll get your picture posted, k?

Give Leah my best.

Smiling at this...
So enjoying the fact
that you realize
we are waiting for you!
to show up!

Didn't knock over any books today but I do think I may have embarrassed Leah a little sitting a that little table with all my messy assortment of notebooks and clipboards.

Like Sy said...for me anticipation is almost as good as what is anticipated.  I enjoyed your poem.

(um, that skiing trip to Colorado maybe?)

hmmm...c'mon *battin' eyelashes*

Four line stanzas, a-b-a-b rhyme scheme

*chuckle*

see ya next week, and wear black, you're being photographed.
