ancient apocalypse acknowledging her imminence natural convulsions metamorphic quivers modify a transient planet rupture escapes pouring protest from fuming earth roiling a defiling flood with sulfurous breath the signs flow forth from Pentecostal prophesies projecting a chronology beyond the gnawed skulls and petros bones of once primordial beasts should our demigods be still? or dance like whirling dervishes along the fiery fractures of volcanic voice "If at first an idea is not absurd, there is no hope for it." |
