I am the homeless you pass by,
the bottle you keep hidden.
The needle you stick in your arm,
the powder you snort.

I am the spouse you beat,
child you neglect.
I am the lies you tell,
secrets you keep.

The one you left laying to die
on city streets.

I am the nightmare of your dreams.

I am your dark side.

mmmmm ... yes there is this dark side to our humanity ... to each of us in one way or another.

A powerful write, to a certain degree we are all guilty probably.
