Good morning, Sissie A wonderful sound to wake to, I think....as well as go to sleep. Something so peaceful in it. What a beauty is this poem! |

Sunshine, this mourning call, whispers softly to my soulful self. God surely smiles at how beautifully you use the gift that He gave you. You add your beauty to His. Love & Sun Light, Linda |

I love mourning doves. Their call brings so many old memories. Thank you for sharing this. “We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” –Robert Louis Stevenson |

Karilea How beautiful was this picture and your words complimented it perfectly. I have many doves that I feed and they wander around my backyard every day. I love them. I hope all is well with you, my friend. Take care.......Sue I am in motion |

What a lovely pairing of art! Corinne here we've been watching the baby ducks -- how quickly they grow (and are separated from Mom and Dad). |

Windsong sings softly, The sneaking cat comes calling Feet not making a sound Waiting for birds falling. Climbing up into the tree Nest of peeps awaiting Breakfast for one hungry cat His breath comes abating. Mourning dove swoops in flight As its young start calling Sneaky cat jumps in fright Then the cat is falling. heh - the dirty little rascal gets his due!!! (Not you, Toe - the cat) |
