The world slowed as it shifted poles;
Backward the rivers flowed.
The current, confused and swelling
Upheaved its earthy load.
But for one instant,
Within the Magnetic Turmoil
      the world paused...

And, of One, they began to grow.

For he was the rock, and she the sand,
Spliced together by splintering wind.
