Oh, won't you please tell me just what did I do, that makes me seem so ugly to you? Was it my truth? Was it my light? Would you rather hide from my sight? How much hurt can I take, before this heart finally breaks? Oh, how I wish you would tell me the truth... what is it that makes me so ugly to you..... I really want to care, I want to feel something, let me dig a little deeper nah, still nothing~ my give a DAMN is busted. there is not an ugly bone in your body... and if you feel, someone feels like that towards you, then the jerk doesn't deserve your friendship...gentle spirit describes you, and then some, and poetry is the window to the soul...and yours my poetess, is one of many filled with compassion, understanding, patience, and above all love...love is not ugly..believe it! Hugs, hugs and more hugs... |

I agree with LeeJ. Such powerful words reflect a deep beauty. And of course the world is our reflection...if one sees ugliness it is only an aspect of ourselves to be addressed. We cannot "own" ugliness...we can not touch it, taste it, or truly "see". We only experience such things through our filters that call and label the "outer" to be processed through our inner awareness. An example that Anthony De Mello uses is..."what is a bird, before we label it a 'bird' ?" The answer is that it is magical, flying creature of wonder, it's beyond the limits of words. We say "bird" and a little, some, of this magic is lost. "Oh...a bird". And always we see THIS first. Hahaha...sorry for rambling! But I look at you...and see this magic, this wonder, this love, abnd yes...this beauty. Eric |

In our selfishness we so often judge people by the little things that shouldn't matter at all. If only we could get past that wall, we would be a lot better off... Thank you for sharing this. ~Ben “We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” –Robert Louis Stevenson |

Donna for as long as I have known you, and it's been years, I have never seen any ugly within you; in fact just the opposite, you have real beauty both with in and out.....though we all question ourselves sometimes, this is not one to question....you are beautiful luv you.... Donna, you are a beautiful person, don't ever beleive that you are ugly. Like Leej said, there is not one ugly bone in your body, I have only known gentleness and beauty within you to name only a few. Hold your head up high, the person who thinks this, is below you....and that? is putting it nicely wrapping my arms around you Maree "we all have wings, but some of us don't know why" |
