I Scratched

I scratched my egos back a wile
And dreamt I was a king awhile
My throne was made of blarney stone
And there I sat atop alone

With powers of a king I thought
I’d bring the best of minds of wrought
And make a world of peace forever
From a throne of blarneys endeavor

When blarneys wish did not come true
It turned my mind a little blue
And bounced the echoes off the wall
To catch the errors of the call

But even wise could not surmise
The making if this enterprise
It takes a common wool and pull
To make they say your three bags full

So grab a hold the rope of should
The ring that rings of common good

serenity,
You mean I have to say it out loud like this?
I love you
And stay off the trampoline.

Nice to see "the ring that rings of common good" still matters to someone. Very well done Sy. Enjoyed very much!

I like this very much, my friend... and this world would be a pretty nice place if you DID sit atop that throne. *S*
