Washed Away

It doesn’t matter
How well prepared you think you are
When the storm hits
You find out you forgot
To shield something from the rain
There is always something you forget to write down
Always something you forget to say
And in the aftermath, while the side effects set in
They come to mind but let them be
Why stir the clouds, the storm is out to sea

As we are in the middle
of a storm as I tickle
the keys...

this struck me as somewhat
prophetic, in a personal sense...

so I thank you for that...
