 Distant Drums ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ +*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Distant drums in primal beating, Rousing passions of long ago, Stirrings from forgotten history, Haunting dreams of sling and bow. In dark of night, my soul is restless, Memories lost, roll in revue, The rising haze of misty veils, Where lives, once lived, stream through. Healing herbs and starlight crystals, Breath of smoke to cleanse the soul, Spirit warrior, brave, and shaman, Are calling me from long ago... +*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ |
