Tilley’s Springtime Garden I saw Tilley yesterday down at the Encinal Nursery. He was buying scented geraniums and sweet alyssum; I was searching for Lemon Boys, finding only Early Girls. He laughed, said it was just like me to ignore the common varietals, and warned to wait on planting until nights turn warm. I blushed at that, caught remembering a certain summer. The cashier jolted me back, asked if I’d found everything okay. Tilley looked my way and smiled. |

There is something memorable in each springtime bloom. Probably because we have planted the tiny seeds or seedlings ourselves. Awesome. Chris |
