Shuffled, shuffled, riffled
and shuffled again,
cut the deck
and dealt the down cards.
One round of betting,
there came the flop.
Another round of betting
and the turn was up.
By the time the river was dealt,
there was a big pot.

“How could it be possible
for that guy to get there
with those lousy cards!”

With a smile,
the dealer mucked all the losing hands,
and pushed that big pot,
dropped the rake,
said, “Thank you!”
and picked the tokes up.

Before the next deal,
“Scramble the damn cards!”

As I've always said, poker players (and dealers) have class.
