Rewrite

Femme Fatal

She struck me a Medusa’s cast
Thrown in a blast of icy stare
That froze me like an icicle
Upside down in the winter’s air

I could not turn or run or doge
I simply stood as frozen prey
Kept immobile by her eyes
That would not let me melt away

She’s froze the tailings of my heart
Tattooed her image on my eye
Wicked in its consequence
It’s a hell of a way to die

And now my essence stands condemned
Compressed an icy form of wait
Unable to utter warning cries
To future souls drawn to her bait

Living solid in frosty bite
Left with only dreams at night

Even if you could ... no one would listen anyway, the femme fatale is that powerful.

mmmm ...I see a multitude of melting icicles ...

Just marvelleous, dear Seymour.
Love and hugs.
