Juice of the Fruit The juice of the fruit makes the wine It’s this symbol on which we dine Weather wet or dry or in your eye It’s juice of the fruit that makes for sighs I have sighed over many a sip The thrill of the taste upon the lip The aroma that stops the roamer That places the mind in a coma But the heart flutters for air to breathe For life is a struggle of bequeath And unless the key turns the lock I’m afraid there will be no flock It is a process of learn and try Sometimes you learn and sometimes you die But to me within the overall Juice is a powerful carryall Drink you your fill but not till it spill Swish it around and taste for the ill |

Love this Seymour. Hell yeah. Over the past couple years I have been planting grape vines in the acre behind my house...one day I am going to attempt to make my own juice. (Wink!) That is no lie either. Wonderful poem dear friend...one I can relate to so very, very well. |

I don't do too well with wine of late...not sure if I am allergic to it or only because it is from the local wineries...besides drinking just slows me down so I drink of your words instead.M |
