Awkward the feeling when words won’t escape
To say what you’re feeling and share
A killer the quiet of years that just grew
Which plasters the sign of despair

Void of the feelings of care of once there
Too often the company gone
Solidarity passed by the wayside years back
Now trying our best to belong

Frightened of thinking what future will hold
When bond of a habit does part
But sometimes the bruises and breaks do not heal
So where will another day start?

Time will see changes that we cannot change
Things in our heart bare that fact
Each day we’re more distant and further apart
Unsure when to speak or react

oh Rick, this surely brought back memories...of which I would never want to see anyone experience, and when this occurs, it all seems so surreal, so unfair, and yet, the thoughts always kept reminding me, that in the long run, we'd both be better off...

Hugs dear Friend...for a very heartwarming write...

Happy Monday

Dear Lee, thoughts coming onto paper, could be a relationship anywhere, when communications is none existent, there is too much time to think.
Thank you for your reply my friend, I had a good Monday, about to get into bed for the night, another day tomorrow. So you have a great day.

Sincerely
Rick

Rick
Reminds me of something I once wrote.
I sail upon
   A sea of grays
   Inconsolable
   Counting days

Rick, this is so sad, you've expressed this so well.

It really hits home and tugs at the heart strings.
