Love is a feeling of lust and respect
That we should all nurture and try to protect
For if it should wander away and be lost
Many would suffer an ultimate cost

Love offers more than the days that we live
Providing a calmness and way to forgive
Love holds more strength than a body could match
Yet fragile and weak if its core you would scratch

Love is forgiving, respectful and more
Religion to some as they come to adore
Love is a blessing that comes from above
So everyone’s searching and praying for love

Oh how right you are Rick. We are all searching for love. This is a wonderful poem. Sincere and heartfelt and I am so glad I got a chance to read it and comment on it this morning.
