Thanks to Dixie for this one, she gave me the inspiration.

Sometimes a man just needs to be told
And shown there’s a future to which he can hold
To get a good morning instead of a frown
To feel things are happy and not always down

There’s times when a smile would heal every hurt
Times when the right thing would stop the alert
A time when the caring can just walk away
Some men try the right things, but what can I say

Respect is a big thing when love’s walked away
But when too it’s leaving the thoughts further stray
For sometimes a man the pain can’t forget
And living on memories just brings on regret

A man needs to feel that his love is returned
And that some respect through the years he has earned
A man likes to see that he works to a goal
Men need to share life to make them feel whole

So smile at good mornings though you might feel low
The man is just trying to help the love grow
Give him respect, if that’s what he shows
For love needs an anchor, or goodbye it goes

Okay, am with LeeJ - your words melt a woman's heart and smile the soul - what a lovely response to Dixie's write - and I love seeing a man's perspective - thank you for that gift -

Beautiful!!

And its sometimes unfortunate when this just isn't enough to a man or woman and it falls apart.

But I know that there are some really great guys out there...

Dear Rick,

this is such a touching write. I am so honored to have had a part in its creation.

A fine job you did with this!

Dear Marge, good to see you here, thank you for your reply, much appreciated. Good on Dixie I say.

Dear Susan, it is always nice to hear the other side and thoughts, we are all different and different days bring different thoughts, thank you for sharing yours with me today.

Cloud 9, nice to see you here, I am also sure there are very nice women out there as well, but there are many paths and often not much luck, thank you for your reply, much appreciated.

Dear Dixie, thank you for the inspiration for this one, was written in about five minutes, sometimes the ones straight to paper are the best, again my friend thank you, I await your next inspirational work.

Thank you all my friends.

Sincerely
Rick

Rick, you're quite welcome. Yes, straight to the paper is sometimes best...what comes to mind through heart.
