Listening to every heart

0 posted 2005-04-27 09:49 AM

From The First

You beckon me,
I willingly follow,
over rocky barrier,
‘cross sleepy hollow,
along the river’s stream,
by the water’s fall,
through the sun’s shine,
just to heed the call…

and were you then, or are you now, a piped piper of this dream, this most intangible stretch of gossamer’s thread and melodious sound with which so tightly you bind ‘round my heart, keeping me close, and I snuggle into your breast, safe, warm, home…

ah comfort, come
thus it is found then
here, right here
in this, the spirit
of you, your essence
encircling me
in garland of gold
as if from the
first day the earth
saw light
and amazed,
when
the light saw
us

and were you then, or are you now, a piped piper of this dream, this most intangible stretch of gossamer’s thread and melodious sound with which so tightly you bind ‘round my heart, keeping me close, and I snuggle into your breast, safe, warm, home…

I shan’t ask
the question
for the truth
lies here, in
your eyes, in
this kiss
in this bliss
on this plane
to which I shall
come
again, and again

and were you then, or are you now, a piped piper of this dream, this most intangible stretch of gossamer’s thread and melodious sound with which so tightly you bind ‘round my heart, keeping me close, and I snuggle into your breast, safe, warm, home…

Yes…

The knowledge that Sunshine wrote it is enough to pull me in, and your contentment is what I take away.  Good job!  KJ

Sissie

Some things are timeless, like this poem and the feelings written therein.

dreamy lady, simply stunning!
always a treat to read you, the images held me attentive, not wanting to reach the end, and it felt like there's much more...
