Fire

In the midst of life
a curveball was thrown.
I thought I had it all,
How could I have known?

My life was good,
my heart..my home..
But then you came,
and my mind was blown.

I have never felt
this kind of love.
It's a one of a kind,
one sent from above.

This thing you have given,
They way that it's shown..
It amazes me so much
to see how it's grown.

Our first meeting,
so carefully planned.
The look in your eyes,
a light brush of your hand.

Your lips so soft
and so warm to feel.
With one fail swoop,
my heart you did steal.

My soul now swirls
with love and desire.
Only you have the water
that can put out this fire.

Thank you PS...I am just now getting back in to writing. They are coming slow, but they keep getting a little better each time.

Well put, words have a way of healing, and letting others know how we truly feel.
