My father died in bed
Calling for his Bellerophon

How much
He wanted to ride his horse
Into one last battle

I remember the tears he shed
To find himself unable

See the smoke
How it rises from the cave

It’s time to go

Say goodbye to all my friends—
Tell them I was happy

Yet again...touching.  This is truly heartfelt and lovely...I must say you have a knack for simplistic creativity.

?

This may be like the time a woman
on my staff told me how as a child
she and her friends after purchase
were disappointed to find
that their Ken dolls had no gentiles.
