The Words He Spoke ~ By Sue ~
I remember when he touched my heart with the gentle touch of his hand he stirred emotions deep inside I didn't know was even there Everyday was such a joy because I knew he cared
Who would have even guessed there would have come a time when we would have to part after all we had been through and the relationship we fought for would finally come to an end
The tears slid down my cheeks as I had prepared to leave and seeing all the things I loved that I couldn't take with me, just made the pain I felt inside even harder for me to bear
Now, I sit here all alone wondering what had taken place to change the the words he once spoke of always wanting us to be together until the end of time which sounded like an eternity

Sue, you certainly know how to put those feelings down on paper. Gosh, I couldn't help but get pulled into your world ~ and have memories stirred up of when that was my world as well. I know in my heart that you have better times ahead for you emotionally ~ and financially.
I want the best for you! ~ and you deserve it! You've been to hell and back and you have worked hard to stand on your own two feet.

How did you do this? This delicate poem about the parting is just beautifully sad and... perfectly expressed. The closing is sublimely sad. I feel things not felt by me before.
thank you for sharing this.
