Overtones Weight of stones now holds their bones Dissolving the changing grime Still above, flow overtones Making new in passing time Spirits fly the sky of why Phantoms cast from door to door Passing on the why of I Questing the evermore Awe that’s mind within the core Shows the promise of the goal Walks the rainbow of the store Makes the mortar of the soul It plays eternity’s stage Bloom and doom in ever wend Ever turning page on page Never coming to an end And so I wait the weight of stone I would not stay and be alone |
