Each day comes and goes, Day to day you just want to go by, Head swimming with confusion, You want cry and scream, No one really understands, Nor do they know what you mean. I ask myself why, Why the pain, Why the uncertainty, Why is it that I feel like no ones listening, Listen to me please. Let me go, Set me free, Be who I want to be. Give me happiness, A reason to smile, Send me love, Love from above. The future for me I can’t predict, I only hope it’s good, Wish I knew what was in store, Maybe then I’ll be really happy, Enough to want even more. Now as I am here at this point in time, I ponder about what could be next, Good or bad, Being happy or sad, Life is a journey, Therefore I can only hope for the very best. Let me go, Set me free, Be who I want to be. Give me happiness, A reason to smile, Send me love, Love from above. Let me go, Set me free, Be who I want to be.
