A February Dawn my eyes lift toward the pale, pale azure wisped with white fluff streaked with a pilot’s trails drenched with the residue of sunlight a clawing forms upon my heart and just behind my eyes a pool of tears collects as I ponder “Is there enough?” a query forms within me, “Is there enough?” enough what? I don’t understand the fullness of the question yet the question remains; it is filled with power it creates acrid tears of longing without comprehension of for what the longing clamors in its silent weeping ©February 12, 2005 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

What came to my mind here after reading your poem is the verse that says that the spirit is willing but the body is weak... Sometimes, I believe that we just don't know what the spirit is trying to tell us, but, oh, what a beautiful beautiful cleansing experience it seems that you enjoyed here. Thank you for sharing -Bob |
